Where on earth has the time gone? It seems like summer just started. I am not going to be pleased with the next person I hear complain about how slow summer is going and how they want school to start. My summer is going by too quickly.
My job is progressing wonderfully. We have lots of fun intern bonding and whatnot. Everyone in the office seems to like me, and I really like working there, so it's a win-win situation.
I drove down to Wooster to visit my lovely younger sister yesterday. It was a short visit, but well worth the drive. Visiting her made me realize how much I miss being home. There's not much I miss from home - a few friends, a couple family members, and just being in CA in general - but it's enough to make me question my choices. Don't get me wrong, I like Oberlin a lot. My love for Oberlin has truly been growing every day, but it has yet to replace or match my love for California and the people I have there. It's still an adjustment, I guess. It'll probably only get worse when I leave to visit NJ next weekend, but at least all of those people are connected to Oberlin. Hmm..
I guess that's all I wanted to say for now. I just woke up, so my mind still isn't fully functioning. I'll add more later, perhaps.
