- Sleeping schedule: 11pm-7am. That means I'm in bed by 10:30pm every night. The only exceptions allowed are Friday and Saturday nights, but hopefully only one of those per week.
- Library time every morning from 8am until my next commitment. MWF, that means library time from 8-10. Tu/Th that means library time from 8-12.
- Craft a writing timeline for the semester. We actually have to do this for the honors seminar, so that should work out nicely. I want a draft DONE by spring break, if not sooner. I think that puts me on a pace of about 10 pages/week.
Those are the bigs things, and they're all interconnected. I have found that, once awake in the morning, I'm much more productive than I am in the afternoon or the evening. Hopefully this will lead to productive thesis-writing sessions. We'll see.
Sorry for the boring post. It's necessary, though.
Woo! I like it, though that is a lot of time in the library. And I agree, I was much more productive in the morning, still am in fact.
ReplyDeleteI would also like to point out that thanks to your blog, I know that the Battle of Los Angeles was this day in history in 1942, so relevant to me!
Library time has totally failed, btw. I've just been writing in my apartment. But I still am sure that I'm more productive in the morning.
ReplyDeleteYesss. This day in history is so awesome :P
