Oh, how I love free airport wifi. It's pretty awesome, I can't lie. I'm sitting here at my gate waiting to board my flight. Visibility out of the airport is very low because of the fog, so I'm hoping that my flight doesn't get delayed. After getting four hours of sleep last night I'm tired and I really just want to board and be able to sleep on the plane. I look forward to a nice long nap while flying to DC. My flight is nearly 5 hours, so I'll have plenty of time to sleep. Then when I get into DC I can just sleep more. Yay for sleep!
Ugh, why do I have to be hit with a guilt bomb whenever I leave home? I'm not going to explain what happened, but it seems like everytime I leave for school or wherever I get hit with a guilt bomb from the parents about something that I've done wrong that they haven't bothered to mention until I'm leaving. That makes a lot of sense. We're mad/frustrated/hurt/etc. by something Patrick has done. Instead of talking to him about it, let's just hit him with it on the car ride to the airport at 6:30 in the morning so he doesn't have time to try to fix anything and so we won't see him for 5 months. That makes loads of sense to me.
Anywho, I'm thoroughly enjoying the fact that I'm going to have access to a TV for my entire flight. Wow, you know I've written too much about TB when I automatically type TB instead of TV. Yay for social history classes! Woot.
I can't wait to be in DC so I can SLEEP for a few days, adjust to the time change, get acclimated, and start my internship. I figured out that I'm not actually working in the Capitol building, but rather in one of the House office buildings across the street. Still pretty legit, though. I'm excited. It seems like a lot of offices have been moved out of the capitol (at least from what I've read), which is kindof weird, but whatever. It's probably more secure that way. I'm really looking forward to interning for the House Judiciary Committee. Partay, woot!
Ugh, I just want to board. My flight is still scheduled to leave on time, thank God. I think I may die if it gets significantly delayed. I fucking hate flying. I'd much rather drive any day. Ah, weird sketchy people sitting next to me and my bag. Go away. There's a gazillion empty seats around us, and you choose to sit next to me? Lame sauce. Major lame sauce.
I can't believe my break is over already. It fucking sucks, dude. What happened to vacation? I mean, this summer won't be a vacation either cause I'll (hopefully) be working all summer.
Wow these people are stupid. They just left their bags unattended. Granted, it was for about 30 seconds, but that's still long enough for someone to steal them. Oh well. Not my problem.
I still have 35 fucking minutes until we're scheduled to board. Ugh. I JUST WANT TO SLEEP. PLEASE. I'm so freaking tired...it's not even funny.
Haha this post is going on for forever. Okay, I'm stopping now, but first a quote.
